Interesting move by the Province. There has been a significant backlog to book a road test - and the test to get rid of your 'N' was bizarre. You drive yourself to the test - be told you're not ready to drive solo - then get back in your car and drive yourself home....

This is indeed what change is. BC is dropping 2nd road test for new drivers, as ICBC faces massive backlog on testing. Instead, after 2 yrs with an N, you just get full license (w/ a restriction you can't get caught with drugs, alcohol or electronic devices for 1 yr or lose it)
