PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Big news! Friday marks the last of our First Alert Weather Days for the week, with highs reaching 108 to 112 degrees this afternoon in the Valley. The high pressure that brought the heat is moving east, and a nice low-pressure system will start to cool things down on Saturday. In advance of this low-pressure system, the winds will pick up quite a bit this afternoon and again tomorrow.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Excessive heat warnings continue throughout the rest of the work week. A strong ridge of high pressure will bring temperatures well above average again today. Look for a high of 112 degrees this afternoon and a high of 116 tomorrow, just 2 degrees shy of the record of 118 degrees. The extreme heat warning is in effect through 8 p.m. Friday. Due to the dangerous heat, Thursday and Friday are also First Alert Weather Days.

PHOENIX (AZFamily)— We had a warm start to our morning with a low of 82 degrees, four degrees above our average low. Expect another hot afternoon with highs around the 104 to 108 degree mark in the lower deserts. That ridge of high pressure will continue to heat things up this weekend. Expect to see the hottest temperatures this weekend, with high temperatures reaching above 110 degrees. Our average this time of year is 104 degrees. So, we will be about six to eight degrees above that this weekend.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — High temperatures around the Valley were once again above 100 on Friday, but get ready for the heat to increase this weekend and into next week. Friday afternoon, we expect to see high temperatures near normal at 103 degrees. The disturbance that brought a few thunderstorms up north is starting to weaken, but we’re still seeing a few isolated thunderstorms in the High Country.
