    Ospreys built a nest atop energized power lines near Lake Redman, posing a danger to the birds and a risk of power outages. The new pole design is less conducive to nest building, making the platform a more attractive option for the ospreys. Nestled on top of a tight turn of Met-Ed power lines, next to the roaring trucks of Interstate 83, along a township road that bisects Lake Redman, an osprey family decided that it was the perfect location to set up housekeeping.
