Gaspee Days, commemorating the 1772 burning of the HMS Gaspee, runs through June with events concentrated around June 7th and 14th. Key events include fireworks, a 5k race, a parade, and a ceremonial burning of a Gaspee replica. A colonial encampment recreating 18th-century life will be held at Pawtuxet Park. Festivities conclude on June 15th with a blessing of the fleet, park activities, and the Gaspee burning reenactment.
