    LIMERICK minor hurlers return to action in the round robin phase of the Munster minor championship this Friday with their final fixture of this section of the competition against Clare. The round four Munster MHC fixture was orginally fixed for Mick Neville Park but it has now been moved to the TUS Gaelic Grounds. The action gets underway on Friday evening at 7pm in the Ennis road venue.

    THE LIMERICK U20 hurlers will look to boost their chances of reaching the knockout stages of the Munster Championship this Wednesday, April 23. Limerick host Cork in the TUS Gaelic Grounds at 7.30pm in round three of the Munster U20 hurling championship. The Shannonsiders have defeated Tipperary and played out an exciting draw with Waterford in their opening two games of the Munster round-robin series, both away from home.

Two early goals from set pieces set Ballynanty Rovers in the driving seat and try as they might Fairview Rangers could not find a way through a rock-solid defence. A determined run by Jamie O’Sullivan saw him denied at the front post by Fairview Rangers goalkeeper Anthony McCarthy and from the resultant corner kick, Eddie Radcliffe headed home from Deerk Daly’s delivery.
