NEW YORK, NY -- On Oct. 17, esteemed jazz musician Matthew Whitaker took the stage at Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space to perform in a benefit concert for FMDG Music School. "Even as a person with a disability like I am, I didn't think about clothing honoring me. I always thought about readjusting what I did to make sure that I looked good in the clothing that I wanted," said Thomas. Thomas describes how important it is to figure out what works for your body. "For me, it's my dexterity with my hand.
