(KRON) — A lottery player in Cotati won the $30 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot on Wednesday, according to California Lottery. The lottery ticket was purchased at My Goods Market, located at 8510 Gravenstein Highway. Cotati is a small city in the North Bay just south of Rohnert Park. The winning ticket got all five winning numbers: 3, 13, 17, 23 and 35, as well as the Mega number of 24. Three more lottery players won $11,609 by matching the five main numbers without the Mega number.

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A Bay Area bakery is stirring up buzz with croissants the size of a football. The owner of Le Marais Bakery, which has locations in San Francisco and the North Bay, stopped by KRON4’s studio on Wednesday (video above) to show off its massive product. Videos of the croissants have gotten as many as 450,000 views on Instagram. “The inspiration came from a real love,” said Patrick Ascaso who owns the bakery.

(KRON) — An Oakland man was arrested in connection with a shooting that happened on Interstate 880 on Tuesday morning, California Highway Patrol said. The shooting was reported to CHP at about 7:30 a.m. on southbound I-880 just north of 16th Avenue. The victim was not injured and returned to their home. Officers learned the suspect may have been driving in the victim’s neighborhood. The Oakland Police Department responded to the area and found the suspect car parked and empty, CHP said.

(KRON) — The Campbell Police Department arrested a “serial dine-and-dasher” in the South Bay on Sunday, according to Randy Musterer, who is the CEO of Sushi Confidential in San Jose and Campbell. Musterer said the man had stolen a total of almost $1,000 from both of his restaurants. Restaurant employees were given a photo of the suspect in case he returned, and employees at the Campbell location saw him Sunday night donning a hat and hoodie.
