RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Spring is pollen season here in North Carolina, but have we already had the worst of the tree pollen for the season? The pollen report for April 14, 2025, from the Department of Air Quality says, no surprise tree pollen is still high while grass pollen is moderate and weed pollen is low. It is important to note that while we do still have the yellow pollen pine floating around, our predominant trees are now mainly oak, birch and mulberry.
