This year the district will give out over $4.6 million through the Teacher Incentive Allotment Program. 16 Blackshear teachers received over $219,000 though the Teacher Incentive Allotment Program. “This is one of the best days of the year in ECISD,” said Dr. Keeley Boyer, the Superintendent for ECISD.

    MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - For the 8th year in a row, over 80 8th grade girls from Midland ISD schools were encouraged to pursue an Engineering career as part of Introducing a Girl to Engineering Day. This day is designed to inspire young women to learn about and consider a future job in the Engineering field.     ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - Odessa City Councilman Eddie Mitchell apologized for a letter that was sent to Odessans in District 1 a few weeks ago. The letter is about the zoning in District 1 whether or not new mobile homes and manufactured homes can be built there. This all started back on April 14 when letters were sent out to property owners in District 1 from the Odessa Planning District about a proposed amendment.
