    We're learning more about a dangerous intersection in Boone County where a dump truck crashed into a restaurant. A woman is reflecting 21 years after she was almost killed at the same spot. "It's a miracle that we were not killed there," crash survivor Allison Langford said. Twenty-one years ago, Langford says she was driving down U.S. Route 42 and Beaver Road in Boone County with her 7-year-old daughter when their lives flashed before their eyes.

    There's a lot of conversation about road safety in Boone County after two people died in a crash that ended with a dump truck slamming into a restaurant. Neighbors are concerned with how dangerous the intersection is and want to see something done. Four o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Boone County Sheriff Deputies say a 66-year-old driver turned from U.S. Route 42 into the path of a dump truck loaded with gravel. The truck driver tried to swerve out of the way, but hit the SUV.

    Parts of downtown Cincinnati are unrecognizable, and many people are flocking to see it for themselves as the Ohio River reached record levels. "This is even more crazy than I thought," Donna Boutilier from Montgomery said. Walking paths downtown along Mehring Way are nowhere to be found. Parking garages are turning into aquariums. Our WLWT crew saw fish swimming where cars are usually parked. "There's no place to park like even if you wanted to unless you go further in town," Kim Summers said.

Boone County Sheriff’s office confirmed 2 people are dead and 1 is critically injured from this crash. The dump truck driver was not injured.
