An activation from the 1939 World’s Fair in New York City was the inspiration for an exhibition at ABC Stone in Greenpoint, Brooklyn that challenged five landscape architects with designing a 350-square-foot vignette with a single stone species as the centerpiece. Stone in Landscape Architecture: A Sensory Journey started as a clever marketing ploy from ASLANY and supplier and host ABC Stone, based on the showcase at the World’s Fair that staged a 5-acre exhibition with 50 landscaped gardens.
