A wild week in the NBA's Western Conference is finally over. The Denver Nuggets wrapped up regular season play against the Houston Rockets on Sunday. They needed to win to clinch a top six seed in the conference and avoid the Play-In Tournament. Interim head coach David Adelman is undefeated since taking over for the fired Michael Malone, and it stayed that way on Sunday. After a close first half in Texas, the Nuggets pulled away in the third quarter.

The annual Denver Broncos report card is out, as graded by fellow players. This year Denver finished 17th among 32 teams in the NFL Players Association report card. Broncos players gave low marks to the treatment of families and an F grade to the locker room. It's worth noting the Broncos are in the middle of upgrading the team facility in the southern part of the Denver metro area. As for the good? They got high marks for their team plane. That got an A grade.

On Monday, Embattled Colorado Avalanche forward Valeri Nichushkin returned to practice, a sign his six-month suspension is nearing an end. "I think it's a relief for him. He's been skating for himself for months now," defenseman Cale Makar said about the appearance of Nichushkin. "It's good to see him out there."Nichushkin remains in Stage 3 of the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program, a resource for players struggling with mental health, substance abuse or other issues.
