    Congratulations on graduating from Oregon State University! This is a great honor that you should be proud of and celebrate, please pay $140 to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime achievement. As if college was not expensive enough, it feels like our final thank you from OSU and for students at any university is yet another bill. Something students are all too familiar with but should not have to be.

    United States Sen. Jeff Merkley ended his town hall tour with a stop in Corvallis, where he stressed affordable housing efforts and actions regarding the Palestine and Israel conflict. The Corvallis community raised key concerns on a number of issues, touching on methane emissions, the potential expansion of the Coffin Butte landfill and affordable healthcare, but two topics were repeatedly brought up by constituents for Merkley to address.

    Opill, the FDA approved over-the-counter oral birth control, is now available in drug stores across the country, but for students in Corvallis, there are limited locations carrying the pill. For most students, Opill adds to the number of accessible contraception options available but is not the only means, as Oregon State University Student Health also provides accessible and low-cost options.

    Imagine if one email is all it took to get free dental care. For one weekend only this really is all it takes. Oregon State University Pre-Dental  students work with local dentist, Cam Little, and global non profit, Caring Hands Worldwide, to bring free dental care to the Benton County Fairgrounds.
