Day 6 of our WCBD News2 Viewer Trip started in Athens but ended in Mykonos! After spending our first few days sightseeing on land, it was time to board the Celestyal Discovery for the next four days and four nights. I know our group is happy to call Discovery home! It's been a rather chilly, blustery day on the Aegean Sea as we set our sights on Mykonos. Despite the chill, we had a chance to disembark and enjoy the open-air tavernas, whitewashed buildings, and cobblestone streets.

We left Kalambaka this morning for a several hour trip to Meteora, marveling at the Greek Countryside along the way. The mountain ranges were a beautiful backdrop, and as is normally the case, the photos don't do the real thing justice. You must see it for yourself. Our stops today took us to several convents and monasteries perched on top of mountains. These are places of solitude and prayer and a place where priceless historical and religious treasures are kept.

The Parthenon is a former temple on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece, that was dedicated to the goddess Athena.

On November 12, 2024, the Biden administration announced a final rule to reduce methane emissions from high-emitting oil and gas producers. Enabled by the Inflation Reduction Act (the "Act"), EPA will now collect Waste Emission Charges from entities "wasting" methane by flaring or venting it into the atmosphere rather than capturing it. Congress included this requirement in the Act to prevent waste and encourage the oil and gas industry to conserve valuable energy resources.

On October 4, 2024, without opinion and no recorded dissents, the United States Supreme Court handed the Biden Administration two wins on notable climate change regulations, denying emergency stay applications against Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. First, in Oklahoma, et al. v. EPA, et al., the Court turned down a request by Oklahoma and industry groups to stay the implementation of EPA's regulations aimed at curbing oil and gas facility emissions of methane.
