ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — Adams County Met-Ed customers now have power back in their homes. Although people may be feeling relief from the heat, some people might be feeling financial discomfort. A spokesperson with the company says Met-Ed does not plan to reimburse or compensate customers for the loss of power because the outages were caused by an equipment failure. However, customers can submit an insurance claim to the company for review.
