Is it more!? NEW ROCHELLE, NY (April 19, 2025) — My initial report noted the settlement was on the city council’s Tuesday agenda for $250,000. The agenda was my source, plain and simple. When the council voted, Mayor Ramos didn’t read the resolution aloud, but she also didn’t correct the dollar figure. I followed up with City Manager Will Melendez, who exchanged emails with me but never once hinted the $250,000 figure was wrong. So why is Wagstaff now crying foul over the amount?
