Santa Clara, considered one of the fastest growing cities in the county, revealed a new housing complex Wednesday. City leaders, community members and a development group called Related California cut the ribbon on the apartment complex near Levi’s Stadium. The complex, called The Clara, is almost a decade in the making. It includes units ranging from studio apartments to three-bedroom units, ranging from $3,400 to $6,800 a month.

One agency has found a home for a San Jose man, who made his name as a legendary roadie for rock bands. His journey later put him on the streets. 57-year-old Wolfe Cevorov is better known as ‘Roadman," is a Tiny Home resident who will soon be on the road again to a permanent home. Roadman, was a longtime roadie for the rock group Smash Mouth he considered them family and the group even had a song called "Roadman" on their second album and it was about him.

Wai Phyo, the vice president of the Myanmar Cultural and Community Center in Union City, said Friday his group was reeling but trying to get ready to assist.

San Jose has suddenly become a buyer's market in terms of housing. According to Redfin, the Bay Area's biggest city saw a 30% spike in home sale listings, the highest percentage jump in the county. Although the spike is suitable for realtors, many question whether there will be more competition and home buyers. "It just really worked out with our personal plans. So we decided to list now," said Jorge DeLuna of San Jose.
