BALTIMORE (AP) — The body of the last missing construction worker killed in the collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge in March has been recovered, officials announced Tuesday as demolition crews prepared to use explosives in the ongoing cleanup effort. Officials said the crew of the Dali will remain on board the grounded container ship while crews conduct a controlled demolition to break down the largest remaining span of the fallen bridge.

CAMBRIDGE, MD - The Cambridge Police Department has found the 10-year-old child involved in a critically missing person and alleged abduction case. Details remain scare at this time, but officials announced shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday that 10-year-old Layla Aniya Bowser and 44-year-old Yukie Sharese Pritchett have been located and are both safe. According to Cambridge Police, officers were first alerted on Monday, April 22nd, of a missing 10-year-old girl and a 44-year-old woman.

SALISBURY, Md.-- Crews responded to a fire at a Wicomico County Landfill overnight. According to the Salisbury Fire Department, crews responded to the landfill on Bricks Kiln Rd. in Salisbury just after midnight following reports of a natural cover fire. Once on the scene, crews found a large fire in the lower section of the landfill that was difficult to access.

CENTREVILLE, Md.-- Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a house fire in Centreville Friday morning. According to the Maryland State Fire Marshall's office, crews were called to 125 Coon Run Ln. shortly for 9:30 a.m. for reports of fire. Officials say say it took crews roughly 30 minutes to put out the flames. During that time, two fire fighters suffered minor injuries.

DOVER, Del. (AP) — A bill allowing doctor-assisted suicide in Delaware narrowly cleared the Democrat-led House on Thursday and now goes to the state Senate for consideration. The bill is the latest iteration of legislation that has been repeatedly introduced by Newark Democrat Paul Baumbach since 2015, and it is the only proposal to make it to a floor vote. After lengthy debate, lawmakers voted 21-16 for the measure, which needed at least 21 affirmative votes for passage.

DOVER, Del. -- The Dover Police Department is currently investigating shots fired at Dover Park Wednesday evening . Officials say officers were called to the park shortly after 4:45 p.m. for reports of shots fired and witnessed several people running from the area. According to investigators, officers found several spent shell casings in near the crime scene. No injuries were reported. There is no suspect description at this time.

(AP) — A third channel will open this month at Baltimore's port after the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse two weeks ago, and Maryland's congressional delegation will sponsor legislation seeking federal aid to pay 100% of the cost of a new bridge, Sen. Ben Cardin said Tuesday. Cardin gave the update after meeting with the state congressional delegation and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore on Capitol Hill in Washington. “We now have two alternative channels that are open.
