A fight that started outside a downtown restaurant Monday evening continued inside of it, according to Olympia police. About 6:30 p.m., police were dispatched to a disturbance at Asahi Sushi in the 100 block of Legion Way, which is across from Sylvester Park. Police arrived and learned that two men had been fighting outside the business, with one of the men allegedly holding a wooden stick and hitting the other man with it, police Lt. Paul Lower said.

Four people are in custody, including a 30-year-old woman accused of first-degree attempted murder, after they allegedly surrounded another woman and began to assault her at the homeless encampment known as the Jungle last week, according to Olympia police and jail records. About 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, police were dispatched to the 3200 block of Martin Way East after several 911 callers reported seeing a woman bleeding as she walked down Martin Way, police Lt. Paul Lower said.

A Fircrest home was damaged by fire Saturday evening. Tacoma Fire Department Courtesy A Saturday evening fire damaged a home in Fircrest, according to the Tacoma Fire Department. About 5:30 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of Crestwood Lane after receiving multiple 911 calls about smoke and fire, spokeswoman Chelsea Shepherd said Sunday. No one was home at the time, she said.
