Edrick Floreal-Wooten, 33, of Chattell Street in Fayetteville, was arrested Thursday in connection with aggravated residential burglary, kidnapping, stalking, breaking or entering a building, terroristic threatening, interference with emergency communications and a parole violation. Floreal-Wooten remained at the Washington County Detention Center on Friday in lieu of $250,000 bond.

FORT SMITH -- The U.S. Department of Justice announced on Wednesday the results of a nationwide crackdown on child sex abuse offenders, including two who were arrested in the Western District of Arkansas. Operation Restore Justice was a coordinated enforcement effort to identify, track and arrest child sex predators, according to a Justice Department news release. The operation resulted in the rescue of 115 children, and the arrests of 205 child sexual abuse offenders.
