Saturday, kids can get started in a game that could take them across the country and possibly pay for their education while improving their health. “Tennis is a great sport,” said Joshua Johnson. “I try to at least play every day.”The Rust College sophomore has been playing for eight years.

VICKSBURG, Miss. (WLBT) - Youth crime is escalating, not only in large cities. Vicksburg, with a population of just over 20,000, is feeling the brunt, with most offenders being young people. The past week in the River City has been plagued with gunfire, with young adults pulling the triggers. Vicksburg police are seeing a recent rise in crime among young people, and recently, the police chief was at the scene of a violent incident involving three young women.

Members of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra fill the air with Mozart while downtown workers and residents fill Smith Park. Food trucks line the street, providing delicious dishes for lunch.
