LAS VEGAS (KVVU/Gray News) - A homeowner said roughly 200 teenagers broke into her home and threw a party while she was out of town. On Saturday around 10:30 p.m., Jamie Lewis said she got a call from Las Vegas Metro Police asking if she was having a party. “Of course I said no, and to be fair, I really thought it was a fake call,” she said. Lewis said it was not until her husband got a call from neighbors that she realized what was happening in their home.

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) -On Saturday, the Meridian Railroad Museum hosted National Train Day, and people from all over the area came out to participate. From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., people could take a tour of the museum, learning the history and exploring the railroad train. There was also food and delicious cookies for those who came out to enjoy. Anne McKee, Executive Director of the Meridian Railroad Museum, says that the history of Meridian began in 1854.

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) -On Saturday, May 31st, the Dusty Social Service Club will host their 7th annual Make-A-Wish run starting at 8 am. This run will be held at Bonita Lakes Park, where many people from around the community can participate. The cost to participate in the 1-mile fun run is $15, $25 for the 5k, and $25 for the 2-mile walk, as the money raised goes towards Make-A-Wish.
