Officials have confirmed that there are no reported casualties. Fire crews have been tackling a well-developed blaze at an Ayrshire church this afternoon. Four Scottish and Fire Rescue units are currently at Hurlford Church where firefighters are tackling a serious blaze. Emergency services were alerted to the inferno just after 2pm with the fire affecting the roof of the venue. Specialist resources have also been dispatched to the scene on Main Road.

Officials say that enquiries are at an early stage. Police are looking an incident that unfolded in a Kilmarnock park yesterday afternoon. A post on social media alleged that the woman "attempted to take a little girl's hand" in the Howard Park. The complainant then goes on to accuse the woman of taking a video of his son who was on the zipslide at the time. The accuser claims that he challenged the woman and the matter was reported to the police. Police say that enquiries are at an early stage.

The 59-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have issued a fresh appeal today following a crash that left a motorcyclist dead. The 59-year-old - who was driving a KTM 1290 Superduke R20 motorbike - was pronounced dead at the scene of the smash just before 5pm on Friday on the B741 southwest of Hamilton Bridge, Crosshill. No other vehicles were involved in the fatal collision and officers are now appealing for information.
