"Jane's first Hawkeye game was at five days old, so she's a huge Hawkeye fan," Schlegel said.

    Alliant Energy's Pleasant Creek Solar, Iowa's largest solar farm, is operational, generating power for 40,000 homes. The 200-megawatt site in Linn County is Alliant's third solar project, bringing their total solar generation to 400 megawatts. The project, initially developed by NextEra Energy Resources, is located next to the decommissioned Duane Arnold nuclear plant. Alliant Energy's massive Linn County solar farm is now online.
