KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind — A 4-year-old child drowned Sunday in Syracuse Lake, and conservation officers are now investigating what happened. Around 4:45 in the afternoon, someone called 911 to report the child missing from a home on East North Shore Drive. Syracuse police got there a few minutes later and found the child under a pier in about three feet of water. Paramedics tried to save the child, but they were later pronounced dead at the hospital.

BOULDER, Colo — Several people were injured, and some may have been set on fire in what federal agents are calling a terror attack at a pedestrian mall in Boulder, Colorado. Police said a man was taken into custody. The FBI labeled the incident a “targeted terror attack” and said agents were assisting local law enforcement at the scene. The attack happened Sunday near a demonstration calling for the release of hostages held in Gaza.

The NBA changed after the BLM protests and all the political talk. It feels softer now, not like the tough 80s and 90s. But here in Indy, the Pacers are rolling, and it’s a great time to be a fan.
