Remains of Missing Bloomington Man Found

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Remains found by a crew at a dig site in Bloomington March 26, have been identified as a man missing for three years. That identification was made public Monday by the Monroe County Coroner’s Office. John E. Baker, Jr., 40, had been missing since 2022. He was seen walking into the woods near Meadows Hospital. Despite a search for Baker, he was not found until the crew came up on his remains in March. It was determined Baker committed suicide in the woods.
Non-Custodial Father Arrested After Taking Baby

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. — A baby that had been taken, police believe, by the non-custodial father, has been returned and the father arrested. The abduction of the six-month-old was first reported Saturday morning to the Plymouth Police Dept. Shortly after 3 a.m. a state trooper spotted the car that police were looking for on U.S. 20 and pulled it over. In the back of the car was a man with a baby.

With this expansion, the Swiss-based company will focus on manufacturing continuous glucose monitoring systems with the expectation to create hundreds of highly-skilled manufacturing jobs. EVANSVILLE, Ind.–A naked man walking through a public park was arrested by Evansville police. They say 65-year-old Craig Keeling was carrying his clothes in his hands when walking in the woods by the parking lot. A witness said Keeling was touching himself while motioning at them to join him Saturday afternoon. EPD says Keeling admitted to “partaking in a little voyeurism.”He was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail.

Overnight Shooting on Indy's East Side Injures Three

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said three people showed up to area hospitals after being shot early Monday morning on the city’s east side. IMPD believe all three victims, including one woman, were injured in the same shooting that happened at around 2 a.m. near the intersection of 34th Street and North Arlington Avenue. Victims showed up at emergency rooms at Community East, IU Methodist, and Eskenazi Health hospitals. All three are reportedly in stable condition.
IMPD: Two People Shot Near Riverside Park On Indy's Northwest Side

CLOSE INDIANAPOLIS–Two men were shot on the northwest side of Indianapolis Sunday evening. IMPD says it happened just after 6 pm on East Riverside Drive, near Burdsal Parkway. They found two men with gunshot wounds and rushed them to hospitals where they are recovering. IMPD Officer Tommy Thompson said they are searching for a red SUV that may have been in the area when shots were fired.
