I’ve never been to France, so finding out I could step foot onto French territory using the easternmost province in Canada as a gateway had me cocking my head with curiosity. Twenty-five kilometres off the southern coast of Newfoundland and Labrador sits a little piece of France, discovered by the Portuguese navigator Joãn Áólvares Fagundes in 1520 and then claimed for France by Jacques Cartier in 1536.

Dana Young, President and CEO of Visit Florida, has announced her retirement after six years of leading the state's official tourism marketing organization. Young, the longest-serving agency head in the current Florida government administration, will stay on until a successor is appointed. "I am so grateful to Governor DeSantis for the opportunity to lead VISIT FLORIDA for the past six years," Young said.

The visit not only promoted the airline’s new route from Montreal to Porto, but allowed Open Jaw, along with advisors and media, to become familiar with the areas of Porto, Braga, Guimarães, Douro Valley and Pinhão. From YUL to OPOPorto is one of the newest destinations added to Air Canada’s direct route list from Montreal.

Yup. It's days later, and I'm experiencing the same slow speed in the middle of rush hour when hard-working people are trying to get home after a long day. At least delays and disruptions are reliable.
