    Pelsan Tekstil, a manufacturer from Turkey, will create more than 200 jobs and invest $82.6 million to produce more breathable polyethylene film for the medical industry at its first U.S. location in Wayne County. Gov.     Wayne County Commissioner Joe Daughtery has been appointed to serve on the Wayne Community College Board of Trustees. Daughtery took the oath of office and was sworn in during the board’s May 20 regular meeting in the Walnut building. He was appointed by the Wayne County Board of Commissioners to fulfill the remaining term of Wayne Aycock, who has transitioned off of the board after 10 years of service, said Meredith Futrelle, WCC public information officer.
