    (KANSAS) The Kansas Court of Appeals ruled on Friday that Kansans have the right to change their gender identity on their state-issued ID. The ruling was unanimous that Attorney General Kris Kobach does not have the right to block the Kansas Department of Revenue without a full trial on the issue. The trial dates back to 2023 when Kobach sued Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly over state ID gender changes.

Superintendent Gabe Edgar introduced the new plan which will see the district moving forward with the two high school model. Under the plan Lafayette and Central would remain with Benton being transitioned into a middle school. Truman, Bode and Robidoux would join Benton under a four middle school model.

The winner will be awarded a championship belt and a donation equal to the number of miles run will made to the American Heart Association.
