    MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Hundreds of musicians around Madison took part in a tradition of sharing free music all around the city on Saturday. June 21 is Make Music Day, an international day where music can be heard from street corners, parks, rooftops, gardens and stores. Over 600 artists and performers celebrated the day by showcasing a wide variety of different music genres and styles at over 175 venues. Dozens of other cities and towns in Wisconsin participated in the day.

(WMTV) - Wisconsinites enjoyed a Saturday brunch this morning, but for others in Dane County, they took things to the barn!The Dane County Breakfast on the Farm event at Hinchley’s Dairy Farm lets folks experience their morning meal among cows. Dane County’s Fairest of the Fair, Gwen Mahoney, was crowned at the event. She got to meet with residents and promote the upcoming county fair.

    MCFARLAND, Wis. (WMTV) - An organization gave back to veterans in McFarland on Saturday. Nonprofit Take a Vet Fishing held an event at the Mcfarland VFW. The organization started back in 2012 in Madison. It brings veterans together to hit the lakes and fish together. Veterans were given lunch to kick things off and then headed to several Madison-area lakes. Organizers say the event is about comradery and togetherness.

    MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison police are investigating after a woman on a Metro bus allegedly pushed a Metro bus driver, causing it to crash into a building on the city’s east side Tuesday night. Officials said two people were hurt. One person was taken to the hospital, while another person was evaluated on the scene. MPD said the driver lost control after he was allegedly attacked by the woman.
