LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - For growing families, the decision of whether or not to give birth in a hospital isn't taken lightly, as many go over their birth plan in detail. On Saturday, a Nebraska hospital system announced a major change that is leaving pregnant women with even fewer options. In Lincoln, CHI Birth Center was the only option for expecting mothers not wanting to give birth in a traditional hospital setting, while receiving care from midwives.
