    Gavin Nex is making fresh bread for the city of Florence at his new bakery Florence Bread Company. Homegrown is bringing beer to Florence in the form of a nano brew. Less than an hour from Eugene is a coastal foodie paradise. Florence is home to beautiful parks, river and oceanfront views, great recreational activities and, most importantly, wonderful restaurants. From small-batch brewing to locally roasted coffee to fresh bread, this coastal city is full of delicious bites.

    FOOD for Lane County hosts the 33rd annual Chef's Night Out, serving small sips and bites to the foodies of Eugene. Sixty-five unique local businesses gathered to provide delicious cuisine for the event. LCC Baking took home the award for Best Sweet Bite, and Northfork Tavern took home Best Savory Bite. Eugene's biggest foodies gathered Monday at Lane County Events Hall for the 33rd annual Chef's Night Out, a showcase of Eugene's vibrant culinary scene.

The Eugene Emeralds are starting up a new season Wednesday. The Saturday Market has returned, providing fresh, seasonal picks of produce for its customers. And Oakshire soft-opened its new Springfield taproom, with a grand opening at the beginning of May.
