    The Dane County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who drowned in Lake Monona on May 16 as 25-year-old Collin Smith. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office gave Madison as Smith’s hometown, and a statement from his family said he was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Smith was one of four boaters sailing in windy weather that Friday evening when their boat overturned, casting all aboard into the water.
