The Highland Park native Is one of five History Makers Award winners chosen by the Senator John Heinz History Center. They will be honored at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at an awards dinner at the History Center in the Strip District. Owunna was chosen for his art.

The University of Pittsburgh will be well represented in the preliminary match of the Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic, which will be held Saturday at Peters Township High School. Four members of the WPIAL All-Star Team and one member of the New Jersey All-Star Team will continue their academic and athletic careers at Pitt. Four have signed with the Pitt wrestling team (Nico Fanella, Evan Petrovich, Bode Marlow and Carson Welsh) and one (Shep Turk) with the Panthers’ football team.
