A Lehigh Valley firefighter who gave her life to serve her community was laid to rest Saturday. Firefighter April Lubenetski served as a firefighter since 1999, working for Lehigh Township and later Emmaus. The procession in her honor made its way from Emmaus Fire Department to the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company. The Trump administration has released a list of cities and counties they say are not following immigration enforcements. Lehigh, Northampton, and Montgomery counties made the Sanctuary Jurisdiction list, as well as the city of Philadelphia. The administration says these are cities and counties that are not in compliance with federal law enforcement, information restrictions, and legal protections for illegal aliens. St. Luke's has joined a handful of hospitals suing one of the largest health insurance networks in the country. The class action lawsuit is accusing Blue Cross Blue Shield of not paying market rates for services. This is not the first time Blue Cross Blue Shield has faced a lawsuit like this. Last year, after years of litigation the company agreed to a $2.8-billion settlement in a federal court in Alabama. However, not every state agreed to the settlement; Pennsylvania being one of them.
