A total of 25 firefighters battled the fire in Ferry Road on Thursday, April 17. A plume of smoke could be seen for miles around with the Sandbanks Ferry suspended for around four hours. Mark Morriss, vocalist from The Bluetones, will play a special solo show at Bear Cave in Holdenhurst Road on June 1. The Bluetones had a string of hits in the 90s including Slight Return, Bluetonic, If, Sleazy Bed Track and Marblehead Johnson.
