NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls neighborhood is shaken after police uncovered human remains inside a basement in a home on Orleans Avenue. “Just hearing about it would’ve been shocking. Living next door is insane. Living next to ghosts,” said Antonnio Passauer, who lives next door to the home where human remains were found. “It was crazy to think human remains, found in the basement? Wow,” said Thomas Owens, who lives across the street.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — After months of raising money, the longstanding North Park Theatre on Hertel Avenue is now debuting its latest upgrade: a 4K laser projector. One neighborhood is still dealing with a lot of debris nearly 24 hours later. “We’re not enjoying this right now. I’d rather be golfing,” said Warsaw resident Mary Rase. Rase spent her day picking up branches and twigs from her yard after Tuesday’s hail storm. “It just came down harder than it’s ever come down before.

YOUNGSTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Niagara County resident Ernie Calandrelli is getting attention for sounding like a turkey. He has been turkey calling since the ’70s and now his hunting skills are gaining him national recognition. “It makes me feel good and it makes me feel like I did what I was supposed to do,” he said. Calandrelli was recently inducted in the National Wild Turkey Federation’s Grand Calling Championship Hall of Fame. “It just set me over the top right there,” Calandrelli said.
