SANTAQUIN, Utah (ABC4) — On Sunday, May 4, family and friends of Sgt. Bill Hooser gathered at his gravesite at the Santaquin Cemetery. It was a beautiful sunny morning with clouds on the horizon – a sign of more gloomy weather to mark the anniversary of his passing on May 5. The group that gathered was wearing matching shirts with the “thin blue line,” a symbol representing support for law enforcement. The mission? To tie blue ribbons throughout the city to celebrate Hooser’s life and legacy.

IVINS, Utah (ABC4) — Soaking in the scenery, red rock, blue skies, and green golf courses are some of the perks for the nearly 500 volunteers working this weekend’s LPGA Black Desert Championship. These volunteers are made up of all ages and are split into committees and assigned different tasks, such as golf cart shuttling and schedule coordination. But that doesn’t stop the volunteers from having fun. “I love this place,” said volunteer Ashley Sampson.
