    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Merrill Road sewer pump station improvement project is underway, and it is expected to bring temporary lane closures through August. Starting in June, crews will work to replace the sewer main across Merrill Road required for the new pump station, and two lanes of traffic will be temporarily closed as crews install piping across the road, according to JEA. Construction will begin by first closing the eastbound lanes and detouring traffic through the westbound lanes.
