    The new owners of the Old Mill Inn on the A96 have promised to give the Brodie hotel and restaurant a major makeover. Lossiemouth-based hotel and accommodation firm MacAli Group recently bought the Moray hotel. Now chief executive Mohammed Ali has vowed to “bring it back to the old days”. The company already runs many hotels and restaurants including, the MacRaj Indian restaurant in Lossiemouth and West End Hotel in Nairn. What is planned for the Old Mill Inn?

    By the time she reached the end of fifth year at Elgin High School, Aimee Stephen had already earned the qualifications needed for university. After then completing S6 with five highers, she chose a different path and stepped straight into the workforce to start earning. She joined DYW Moray as a Business and Administration Modern Apprentice. Since then, she has held various roles within the organisation after leaping in straight from school.

    Beet This Sauce was born in mechanic Conor Stewart’s family home kitchen in Lossiemouth, but is now taking its next steps with a dedicated factory in Elgin. The dad-of-three was first inspired after seeing Levi Roots making his mark with Reggae Reggae sauce on Dragons Den. The condiment made out of spiced beetroot was originally created as a side hustle in 2018 but has since snowballed and rapidly grown. The original sauce is already available in businesses locally and nationally.
