TAMPA — From the highs of a 13-0 halftime lead to the lows of giving up 19 unanswered to Dr. Joaquin Garcia and trailing by a touchdown in overtime, Choctaw flag football had gone through a roller coaster of emotions in Friday's 2A state semifinal at the AdventHealth Training Center. NICEVILLE — All postseason, Niceville baseball hasn't faced a must-win game or a crowd outside The Hill. That'll all change Saturday. A day after being silenced by Jake Morvay in a 1-0 loss on The Hill, second-seeded Lincoln busted out for four runs in the first inning en route to a 5-3 win over the top-seeded Eagles to force a decisive Game 3 for the Region 1-5A championship.

NICEVILLE — In her 10 years as Niceville track and field throws coach, Emily Webb has celebrated it all. She's sent 45 kids to college. She's coached 12 individual state titles and another 11 runner-up efforts. She's been a central figure in the Eagles' five team state titles: the boys' current four-peat and one for the girls. The decade of dominance has coined the term "Throwsville" and redefined the sport as field and track for the Eagles.

Four wins down, one to go for @ChoctawFlagFB. But standing in the way is 8-time defending state champ Robinson, which beat the Big Green in the title game in 2022 and 2023. Game time 7:30 p.m. EDT tomorrow. https://t.co/DJfZikLGhR
