    TWO Harare siblings are locked in a bruising legal battle after one of them allegedly clandestinely changed ownership of a property in Mbare. Mudzingwa Maravanyika approached the High Court seeking a declaratory order declaring the deceased estate process, started and completed by his younger brother James in the estate of the late Meggie Maravanyika, null and void. Mudzingwa cited James, Master of the High Court and City of Harare as the first, second and third respondents, respectively.

    A GOVERNMENT initiative to address water scarcity in various communities has brought relief to Guruve residents in Mashonaland Central province, who are benefiting from the Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme. The programme, being undertaken by Prevail International Group, has provided a lifeline to residents and villagers, especially those who were previously reliant on expensive prepaid water.

    PETER Moyo is basking in glory after the release of his latest video, Zuva Remuchato. The video was uploaded on his YouTube channel on Saturday and has garnered 22 000 views. It is off the song Zuva Remuchato from the album Mwana WaMambo, his sixth which was released last October. The album carries six tracks which include Igwe, Zuva Remuchato, Ndiwe Urikupisa, Mwari Wangu, Hatina Nguva and Ndangariro.

    THE African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to elevate Africa’s tax systems and leadership capacity initiatives. ACBF is a pan-African organisation dedicated to building human capital and institutional capacity for Africa’s sustainable development.

    THE Centre for Conflict Management and Transformation (CCMT) has equipped irrigation farmers in Gweru district with conflict resolution skills in a bid to enhance production of agricultural products. Speaking on the sidelines of a workshop to raise awareness of the Irrigable Areas (Control) Regulations, 2021 also known as Statutory Instrument (SI) 38 of 2021, CCMT project officer Blessing Mutoro said her organisation was working with eight irrigation schemes in the district.
