LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Lubbock Cooper Lady Pirates (28-4) are the Extra Innings Team of the Week!The Lady Pirates defeated the El Paso Parkland Matadors on Friday in game one 7-1. They then turned around beating the Matadors on Saturday in game two, in shut out fashion 5-0 to clinch the Area Round Championship. Senior Alyssa Lozano was clutch in game one to bring in runners after a 1-1 tie, as well as McKanna Garcia, who celebrated her birthday during game one.
