    AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - After an active Wednesday, our First Alert Weather Team recaps some of the severe storms they saw across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles. Texas Panhandle:Storms moved into the Texas Panhandle northwest of Dalhart, but they weakened as they approached the team. We followed one stronger storm that started north of Stratford and chased it east to near Borger before heading back towards Amarillo.

    WHITE DEER, Texas (KFDA) - A brief tornado touchdown was reported southeast of White Deer Monday night. On Monday, May 26, several severe thunderstorms popped up around the Texas Panhandle region, with one short-lived tornado. Around 6:42 p.m., the National Weather Service office in Amarillo issued a tornado warning for a storm in rural Carson and Gray Counties. A brief touchdown was reported before the tornado lifted without causing damage.
