The presentation was titled “The bacterial endophyte journey from seed to seeding: Developmental shifts in the microbiome and potential species interactions.” It took place on April 30 in the Quay Davis Board Room in front of an audience of about 20.

Students, families and faculty participated in the event with about 50 guests in total. Guests sat at circular tables covered in white tablecloths, each place setting had two cups, one for water and one for wine – or grape juice – for the event.

The loss followed a strong weekend showing against the Occidental Tigers, in which the Leopards won two of three games. Freshman pitcher Jada Coria got the start for the Leopards against Cal Lutheran and went 5.1 innings, giving up four runs on nine hits with two strikeouts.

Graduate student right-handed pitcher Jerry Terry started on the mound for the Leopards in game one and pitched six innings, giving up four runs, but only one earned, and striking out 10 Boxers.
