TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo City Council has once again delayed a vote to rezone three parcels in south Toledo, with the decision to delay causing some tension at Tuesday's council meeting. "I'm not sure why this is continuing to drag on. We wouldn't do this for anybody else and I'm kind of over the pay-to-play politics," said District 2 councilmember Adam Martinez at the meeting.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo City Council just gave the green light on the first part of a project aimed at improving safety in Downtown Toledo. If approved in full, Washington Street from 17th Street down to Summit Street will see $5.2 million in improvements to curb speeding. It will be funded by the Ohio Department of Transportation, not taxpayers. "The community has asked to slow down traffic there for the five years that I've been on council," councilmember Vanice Williams said.

OREGON, Ohio — A popular summer celebration in Lucas County is facing funding concerns. Oregon mayor Mike Seferian said just like everything else, this year's Boomfest is more expensive. That includes Little River Band, the headliner he has his eyes on. "Last year, we spent about $105,000 to $107,000. Our headliner was Steve Augeri, who was the former lead singer of Journey, and their cost was $25,000. The Little River band's cost is $50,000," Seferian said.

But Bertok is new to the world of viral hamburger reviews. "It was shocking at first to see. It's almost like a scroll. Every time I checked, it was hundreds and hundreds more," he said of Burger Review Guy's growth, which he started on social media in April.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Dozens of Toledo sidewalks that have been damaged by tree roots could soon be in line to get fixed with a proposed project that would not only repair the sidewalks but also save the trees.
