WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - This week is trending wet in north central Wisconsin, and we will start out the week with some of our wettest conditions. Rain is expected all across our area through most of the day, and this will keep temperatures in the mid-40s for highs this afternoon. We will also be dealing with gusty winds as well; winds could gust as high as about 30-35 MPH. In addition, some of us in the Northwoods will be dealing with snow today up north.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - The end of the work week will feature more rain. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible through most of the day today. Strong to severe storms should stay to our southeast for today. Highs will top out in the low to mid to upper-50s today early this afternoon. We’ll finally get a break from the rain later on this evening and into Saturday morning. This weekend will feature dry conditions and average highs for this time of year on Saturday.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - We are starting out the week with colder days than we had this weekend. A cold front is coming through this morning. This cold front will keep high temperatures for today below 50°. Behind the cold front, we will have two things. The first thing will be very strong winds. Winds will have the potential to gust as high as around 40-45 MPH. This will continue through most of the day today.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - We are inching closer to the warmer days that many of you have been looking forward to. We still have a couple of showers possible this morning, although not all of us will get showers. Those who do will get sprinkles or flurries (if anything). Skies will remain mainly cloudy outside with highs in the low to mid-40s this afternoon. Winds will be fairly calm. Any snow that does manage to accumulate will melt fast.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Today will be the first of two days where we could get some lighter precipitation. Some light showers cannot be ruled out today. Any rainfall should stay under 0.25″ (certainly under 0.50″) across all communities. Highs will top out in the mid to upper-40s this afternoon. As we cool off into Thursday morning, we could get some light snow as well. Any snowfall would, almost certainly, stay under an inch across all communities.

[7:40 AM Thursday]- It's a tale of two halves of North Central Wisconsin. It's gotten quieter in the Northwoods, but communities south of Highway 29 continue to get snow this morning. Accumulations will still be light. #wiwx #wsawwx https://t.co/CmmEU0PpR3

#FirstAlertWeather: Both rain and snow will be possible this morning. With highs in the mid-40s this afternoon, snow should melt pretty fast later today. After today, we will get some clearing & have a couple very nice days. #wiwx #wsawwx https://t.co/4I2a5Dnz3f
