(KPTV) - This weekend is the 21st annual Pat’s Run, the largest fundraising event for the Pat Tillman Foundation that supports military members, veterans, and their families to further their education through scholarships. This year there are 36 honor runs happening across the country including one in Beaverton at the Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex.

Multiple athletes traveled to Portland to take part in a study researching psilocybin’s effects on concussions and traumatic brain injuries. Experience Onward, a Portland-based psilocybin treatment center, will host UFC fighters, bare knuckle boxers, and martial artists from around the world this weekend to see if mushrooms can repair their brain damage.

Javonnie Johnson was going about her daily routine on March 27. She said she was crossing the street, heading to her job at FedEx and that is when the attack happened. “All of a sudden, to my right, this dog charges after me. Then he bit down on my leg,” Johnson said.
