"Forty years I've been coming here, and I've never been disappointed," said Jean O'Donnell, Acre Lake. "There's so many choices for food, and of course, the pies and the cream puffs," said Veronica Thomas, Acre Lake. "The food is fantastic, the pies are the best, everything here is fantastic," said Dave Frishko, Greenfield Township.

LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — Penn State's regional chancellor, who oversees the university's campuses in northeastern Pennsylvania, held a news conference at Penn State Wilkes-Barre on Friday on the heels of Thursday night's board of trustees meeting. SCRANTON, Pa. — As we look toward Memorial Day, a time to remember U.S. service members who have passed away, representatives from veterans organizations gathered in Scranton to invest in the veterans still with us. Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti announced $100,000 in grants that will be divided among eight veterans organizations. American Legion Post 568 will receive $20,000 to make renovations to its hall along Birney Avenue and ADA-compliant seating.
