ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Firefighters were on the scene of a structure fire at the Rochester Public Utilities grounds overnight. It happened around 11 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of 7th Street NW and Valleyhigh Drive NW. According to the Rochester Fire Department, a structure on the RPU grounds had a fire in it, which was a piece of equipment on fire. There were no injuries in the fire and there is no estimate on the amount of damages.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – According to data from the Minnesota Department of Education, Rochester Public Schools says the four-year graduation rate for the class of 2024 has reached 86%. RPS said this marks a two-percentage point increase from the class of 2023 and is the highest graduation rate it has achieved in the past six years.

RICE COUNTY, Minn. (KEYC) – The Rice County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in finding an endangered missing person. According to the Minnesota Bureau of Apprehension, Acelind Evenstad, 23, was last seen at her home on March 30 and has not been found since that date. Evenstad is about five-foot-five-inches tall and 110 pounds with brown eyes and reddish-brown hair. Anyone with Evenstad’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Rice County Sheriff’s Office at 507-334-4391.

PLYMOUTH, Iowa (KTTC) - A Mason City man is dead after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a deer over the weekend. It happened around 4:20 a.m. Sunday in Plymouth, Iowa, that's about 15 minutes northeast of Mason City. According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff's Office, Allan Shafer, 22, of Mason City was traveling northbound on Broad Street when he hit a deer that entered onto the road. Paramedics did respond to the crash and Shafer was pronounced dead at the scene.
